Hi My Name is Madison
get top dollar for your standing timber
Selling the timber on your land can be difficult and confusing. It's hard to compare quotes, do research on reputable buyers, and make a good decision when it comes to harvesting your timber.
The Industry says
The industry insists that it is easiest when the land owner knows as little as possible. Easiest when there aren't other bids to compete against. Easier when trees aren't clearly marked. Easier when there's a general agreement instead of a binding contract.
Well easy for them ain't what's good for you.
It's how you get taken advantage of and lose thousands of dollars.
I say
In any negotiation, he with the most information wins. That's why you need someone on your side - someone with deep knowledge and expertise in forestry. Not someone to sell you, but someone to teach and advise you.
These are your trees, your land and your decision.
You deserve all the information.
Here's what it's like to work Together
You have 10+ acres of timber
You have land with standing timber somewhere in Ohio.
Maybe you hunt on it, maybe you just bought it, or maybe you aren't even sure if there is timber of any value on it.
You want an easy transaction, to get top dollar, and for your land to be treated well, so you fill out the form or give me a call to get started.
I Mark your trees
I'll meet you at your property. We'll talk about your goals and your timeline.
I'll walk your property, and mark EVERY tree that should be harvested to meet your goals. You'll get a detailed breakdown of every tree marked for harvest.
I'll make there are exit routes for the timber, and make any alternate arrangements if needed.
You can walk the woods and get a feeling of which trees will be taken.
I get 5-10 bids from reputable loggers
Marking every tree makes it easy to get comparable bids from reputable loggers. Your bids will be apples to apples and easy to compare.
Plus - when loggers know that you are receiving multiple bids, they will submit their top offer, knowing a low-ball offer has no chance.
Once a bid has been accepted, I review the contract to make sure it has the provisions you need to protect YOU and YOUR LAND.
I get paid after you do
I get paid a commission on the sale. And because our interests are aligned, you know I'll be working my hardest to make sure you get top dollar for your timber.
Through the entire process, I'll check up on the crew to make sure not more trees are being taken than agreed.
If you have any questions or concerns - I'll work with you and the crew to make sure they are being addressed.
