$55k for 15 Acres in SW Michigan

Most of the deer on my property only stayed during the summer, I wanted to improve the habitat so bucks would utilize the property all year. Knowing the woods needed a harvest I talked to a few loggers and mills but was not able to find the right person that had the hunting background I wanted. I found TreeStand Forestry on "The Fall" podcast and reached out. Madison came to the property, walked it with me and figured out what my goals were, then marked all the trees that would be harvested to achieve that goal. The whole process was fast and easy, after receiving multiple bids we went with the high bid which was a lot more than the other mills I had talked to. In the end we got top dollar out of the timber as well as had it harvested the RIGHT way to improve the habitat for mature bucks.
